Assist. Prof. Dr. İmge Kunter Presented Her Work as a Keynote Speaker at an International Scientific Congress

A study conducted by Assist. Prof. Dr. İmge Kunter and her research group from EMU faculty of pharmacy was presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. İmge Kunter as key note speaking in an international scientific congress, “International Conference on Natural Products for Cancer Prevention and Therapy (NPCPT-2021) " on 17^th of December 2021. The talk was entitled «Chemical and biological activities of Cyprus endemic Phlomis and Teucrium species ». The presented work attracted the attention of people working in the scientific field and took attention to the rich flora of Cyprus. 

According to the presented data, it was shown by different techniques that Cyprus endemic plants used in the study have the capacity to cause anticancer activity.  These plants promise significant contributions to cancer research and have the potential to be effective as chemotherapeutics.
