DEAN OF THE FACULTY OF PHARMACY PROF. DR. MÜBERRA KOŞAR HAS BEEN INCLUDED IN STANFORD UNIVERSITY’S “THE WORLD’S MOST INFLUENTIAL SCIENTISTS LIST’’

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Pharmacy dean Prof. Dr. Müberra Koşar has been listed amongst the 1,211 academicians who have been included in the “World's Most Influential Scientist" list from Turkey and achieved to the world's top 2%.

14 academicians from Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) have been included among the most cited scientists in the world according to “World's Most Influential Scientist" list. This list has been created as a result of a study conducted by a team of US and Dutch scientists under the coordination of US Stanford University in 2022. Elsevier B.V., one of the leading academic publishing firms and SciTech Strategies, which has been producing scientific production evaluation and assessment maps for more than 30 years. In the list, 200,409 scientists have been ranked within the top 2% worldwide. One academician from EMU was ranked in the top 3,000, one academician in the top 12,000, four academicians in the top 40,000, two academicians in the top 60,000, two academicians in the top 120,000 and 4 academicians have made it to the top 200,000. A total of 1,211 academicians from Turkey and 82 academicians from South Cyprus have also been included in the list.
