Prof. Dr. Fatma Neriman ÖZHATAY visited the Faculty of Pharmacy and Donated Scientific Books to Students

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Pharmacy retired faculty member Prof. Dr. F. Neriman Özhatay visited the Faculty of Pharmacy. Prof. Dr. Fatma Neriman ÖZHATAY, who worked at the Eastern Mediterranean University, Faculty of Pharmacy, between 2016 and 2022, was hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Hayrettin Ozan Gülcan. Prof. Dr. F. Neriman Özhatay, who has benefited from many books over the years, donated her scientific books to EMU Faculty of Pharmacy to contribute to pharmacy students during her faculty visit.

Who is Prof. Dr. F. Neriman Özhatay?

Prof. Dr. Neriman Özhatay has been working for many years to promote and protect Turkey's natural flora. She has been involved in various projects on the protection of natural life and served in various commissions of the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture, and Forestry. Prof. Özhatay has conducted various studies in England, the Netherlands, and Germany since 1976. She has more than 100 publications in domestic and international journals. Prof. Dr. Neriman Özhatay, who has introduced nearly 15 new plant species to the scientific world to date, named a plant similar to wild strawberry after herself (Potentilla nerimannii).
