Pharmacy Faculty Member Ezgi Ak Sakallı's Oral Presentation Had Received Critical Acclaim

A study conducted by a group of researchers from EMU faculty of Pharmacy was presented by M.Pharm Ezgi Ak Sakallı as an oral presentation in an international scientific congress, “International Eurasian Conference on Biotechnology and Biochemistry (BioTechBioChem 2020)" on December 16-18, 2020. The talk was entitled as “Composition analysis and biological activities of different extracts of Teucrium divaricatum Kotschy ssp.canescens(Celak.); an endemic plant of Cyprus" had received critical acclaim.

Findings of the study in which effects of various extracts derived from a Cyprus endemic plant on certain cellular functions that were tested on cell culture systems, promise significant contribution to cancer research.
