Assist. Prof. Dr. Leyla Beba Pozharani Presented Her Work at an International Scientific Congress

Research completed by Assist. Prof. Dr. Leyla Beba Pozharani, who is an academic member of the Eastern Mediterranean University Faculty of Pharmacy presented her work at an International Scientific Congress "8th Multidisciplinary Congress on Cancer Research" on 15-17 January 2021. The research was about  "In Vitro Assessment and Comparison of Excipient Toxicity on Human Hepatic Adenocarcinoma Cell Line." The results of her work revealed that poloxamer mixture could be used safely for cancer treatment thus optimizing the cytotoxicity and chemosensitizing activity of the active ingredients. As a result, having a potential in reducing therapeutic doses and minimizing adverse effects in hepatic chemotherapy.
