Faculty members Presented a Group Work at an International Congress – UTSAK

A study titled "Increasing the Water Solubility of Herbal Medicine-Curcumin with Solid Dispersion Technology" was successfully presented  by Instr. B.Pharm. Mustafa Alhadi and Sr. Instr. Pharm.D. Jannat Al-Jubouri at the 8th International Medical and Health Sciences Research Congress (UTSAK) as an oral presentation. The congress took place between 25–26 December 2021. The study was conducted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Leyla Beba Pozharani, B.Pharm. Mustafa Alhadi and Pharm.D. Jannat Al-Jubouri at EMU Faculty of Pharmacy. Within the scope of the research, it was found that the complexes manufactured using the solid dispersion technology approach considerably improved curcumin solubility, and the proposed method may potentially have tremendous promise in terms of drugs' bioavailability.
