EMU FACULTY OF PHARMACY 2024-2025 Spring Semester GRADUATES Oath ceremony held

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Pharmacy held an oath ceremony on Friday, July 4, 2025 at 09:30 at the Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center just before the graduation ceremony on July 9, 2025.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, followed by a musical recital by EMU Faculty of Pharmacy instructor Aysan Davatgaran Taghipoor.

The program continued with graduation speeches by Pharm. D Program highest ranking student Maryam Gharbi and Pharm. M Program highest ranking student Osman Cancuri on behalf of the 2024–2025 Academic Year Spring Semester graduates.

  

EMU Faculty of Pharmacy Dean Prof. Dr. H. Ozan Gülcan congratulated the graduating students, stating, "Today, our students have completed a significant part of their education and they are taking the first steps into their professional lives by taking the pharmacist oath. I wholeheartedly congratulate them and thank their families for all their support." In his speech, Prof. Dr. Gülcan also emphasized that the faculty's educational journey, which began in the 2011-2012 Academic Year, has now reached an internationally respected level.

EMU President Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç expressed that he has the happiness not only to share a very special moment but also to congratulate and honor the students of EMU Faculty of Pharmacy who have earned the title of pharmacist.

At the end of the program, a special photo presentation compiled from the memories of the graduates during their education was shared with the participants. Then, all graduates have taken their oath. With this meaningful oath, the students officially took their first steps in their professional lives.
