TESTIMONIALS FROM OUTGOING SEP STUDENTS
SEP experience was the best experience I've had during my pharmacy school, I'm grateful and delighted that EMUPSS and the SEO, Miracle Udokang has supported me and helped in applying for my exchange program in summer 2018. I had the privilege to live and train at a community pharmacy in Budapest, Hungary. SEP was a very social and multicultural experience where I got to benefit from my summer to learn more about how pharmacy works in Hungary and around Europe, I've made a lot of friends from all over Europe and other regions during my stay and we will stay in contact. I've discovered various new foods, experiences, places and culture.

My SEP experience in Turkey was an exciting chapter that has left an indelible impact in my life. I encourage every pharmacy student to embark on SEP during their course of study. I am grateful for the opportunity given to me by IPSF, EMUPSS and will also like to express appreciation to Selen İsar the Leo of TPA-YC for her invaluable support during the exchange program. Working at Hacettepe University Hospital has broadened my knowledge immeasurably and proven very insightful in relation to my future plans. Furthermore, my days at Hunikal quality control laboratory helped me to understand and embrace a new aspect of pharmacy. My understanding of the Turkish language improved, I got to learn about their culture, created timeless bonds with people and visited historical places, overall creating a positive lasting impression."

My Sep experience has been extraordinary, I was very sceptical before going but once I was there I enjoyed every bit of the experience. Thanks to our Seo Ms. Miracle Udokang for helping me throughout. In Czech Republic (Prague), I worked in a hospital pharmacy. I got to learn so many new things from my clinical pharmacist. Czech is known for their beautiful castles and native beer and i got to experience it all. I made friends from all over the world and got to know about their cultures. My overall experience has been spectacular and I would recommend everyone to choose Czech Republic for their Sep Experience."

Have the trip of your lifetime, enjoy acquaintance of lectures and professors in Pharmacy studies around the globe and make friends with your colleagues in an international level; that's what SEP program is offering you and I'm happy and grateful for having this experience in France. France is a great country with a valuable culture and history in addition to the high level of research studies in Pharmacy field. Doing SEP in France for me was a pleasurable hands-on experiment on anti-neoplastic agents combined with making new friends and enjoyment of sightseeing in one of the most culturally rich countries in the world. I want to thank my organization, EMUPSS and my SEO Ms. Miracle Udokang for her help and support throughout my whole journey.
Stepping into a new country, a new lab, and a new culture—all in just two weeks—was nothing short of unforgettable. As an outgoing student proudly representing EMUPSS Cyprus through the SEP exchange program, I had the incredible opportunity to join Ankara University’s Experimental Animals Pharmacology Lab. Immersed in a dynamic research environment, I worked alongside PhD and Master’s students on projects investigating the effects of diabetes on erectile dysfunction, cardiovascular systems, and surgical models in rats. I developed practical lab skills including the organ path procedure and the gavage technique for oral administration, and even assisted in advanced surgical techniques like testis rotation—hands-on experiences that expanded my understanding of experimental pharmacology.
Beyond the lab, I formed meaningful connections not only with professors but also with both local and international students at Ankara University. Together, we explored the heart of Ankara, shared great moments, and visited iconic landmarks such as Anıtkabir.
I am sincerely grateful to my host SEO Aybüke, her contact person Tajra, and our own SEO Moses for their guidance, support, and warm hospitality. A special thanks also goes to EMU-PSS and AUPSG for making this life-changing opportunity possible. To anyone considering a student exchange: take the leap—you’ll gain far more than you expect, both professionally and personally.
Aya Abdelrahim, had SEP in Turkiye - February 2025
I spent this summer in Belgrade, Serbia as part of IPSF's SEP program. I had the amazing opportunity to do my internship at a community pharmacy. I want to give a huge shoutout to Emupss SEO, Aya Abdalbagi, for being so supportive and helpful throughout the whole process. This experience was life-changing! I had the chance to meet a bunch of European colleagues and exchange information about our profession. It made me realize that I can work as a pharmacist anywhere in the world. And the other SEP students were amazing. I made so many new friends that I'll keep in touch with. I hope everyone else who participates is as lucky as I was. Thank you to the Napser and BPSA teams in Serbia for being such great hosts and organizing an incredible SEP Weekend.
