77 Young Pharmacists Graduated by Taking Their Oaths

EMU 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester Pharmacy Faculty Graduation and Oath Taking Ceremony took place on Wednesday, 9 February 2022 at 18:00 at Mustafa Afşin Hall. The highest ranked student in the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pharm D. Program Rana Moghaddamshahabi and the highest ranked student in Pharm B. Program Edwin Mwasa delivered speeches on behalf of the graduates. Delivering the opening speech of the ceremony, Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists Association Chair Dr. Umut Öksüz said; “I wholeheartedly congratulate you all”.

Pharmacy Faculty vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Hamurtekin also delivered a speech by saying; “Always keep the ethical values as a priority in whichever field of the pharmacy you work in. Always improve yourselves. Graduation is a new beginning for you. I wish you all success”. Following the speeches, a photograph presentation of Pharmacy Faculty 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester Undergraduate Graduates was screened. Vice Rector for Administrative and Technical Affairs Prof. Dr. Serhan Şensoy and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamurtekin presented diplomas and awards to the highest ranked students in the faculty and the programs. Undergraduate graduates received their diplomas and oath certificates at the end of the ceremony.

Pharmacy Faculty graduates enthusiastically took their “Pharmacist Oaths” accompanied by the Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists Association Chair Dr. Öksüz. Total of 77 students graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy.
