A Study Conducted by EMU Faculty of Pharmacy Member Assist. Prof. Dr. İmge Kunter and her Former Students was Presented at ISOPS-13

A study conducted by Assist. Prof. Dr. İmge Kunter, and her former students Yelin Subası and Marianna Najjar from EMU Faculty of Pharmacy was presented as an oral presentation in an international scientific congress, “13th International Symposium on Pharmaceutical Sciences (ISOPS-13)" on June 2021. The presentation was entitled as “The Effect of Neopterin on Epithelial Mesenchymal Transition Driving Gene Expressions at HCC." The presented work attracted the attention of people working in the pharmacy field. 

The study indicates that different Neopterin concentration alters EMT (Epithelial Mesenchymal Transition) and hybrid epithelial/mesenchymal phenotype activity in HCC cell lines. This study illuminates the relationship between HCC and Neopterin on a molecular basis.
