A Visit from Syria to Eastern Mediterranean University Faculty of Pharmacy

On December 4, 2024, Ammar Samman, the President of the Future Syrian Group in Mersin visited our Faculty of Pharmacy. During his visit, opportunities for collaboration in education and research were thoroughly discussed, with a particular emphasis on accepting students from Syria to our university and fostering a more effective network of cooperation among academics.

This visit was considered an important step in contributing to the development of academic relations between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Syria. Prof. Dr. H. Ozan Gülcan, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, stated that the Faculty is fully prepared to support such joint projects and collaborations in every possible way.
